Woo-hoo!

I have lots of free time on my hands for the next week and a half before I go home for my second spring break of the semester. I had to go to a place in town that could potentially be considered educational today to create lesson plans for the rest of the student teachers who do not have the luxury of having this time off. I went to an arts garden and wandered around outside, freezing the whole time. I then went on a few other errands, trying to convince myself that I should run because there is supposed to be a winter storm tonight so I probably really won't want to go tomorrow. I decided to motivate myself by buying a hat to run in the cold with, and it worked.

I ran the same route I did yesterday, but added an extra .2 miles on in the middle. As I walked back, I thought I was walking too slowly, so walked more quickly, and did my 4.8 miles in the same amount of time that I did the 4.6 yesterday. I'm so proud of myself. Plus, it was cold out. Even more of a reason to be excited. The stats for the day:

Distance: About 4.8 miles
Time: 75 minutes
Cloudy and cold 2:15
Temperature: 39 degrees Fahrenheit
Humidity: 49%
Visibility: 10 Miles
Wind: from the ENE at 17 mph
